## What changed


- `/config key=value` sets any setting from the prompt; works interactive, in `-p`, and Remote Control
- New `sandbox.allowAppleEvents` opt-in lets sandboxed commands send Apple Events on macOS
- New `CLAUDE_CLIENT_PRESENCE_FILE` env var suppresses mobile push notifications while you're at the machine
- Bundled Bun runtime upgraded to 1.4
- Fix: Write/Edit producing 0-byte or truncated files on network drives and cloud-synced folders
- Fix: prompt caching not reading on custom `ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL` and on Foundry (per-request attestation token changed every turn)
- Fix: `open`, `osascript`, and browser auth flows failing with error -600 on macOS (Apple Events entitlement added)
- Fix: ~120ms startup regression from 2.1.169; blank-terminal startup stall up to 15s on degraded networks; startup crash on null project entries in `.claude.json`; macOS TUI freeze during Spotlight reindex
- Fix: idle sessions losing history when another process ran the 30-day transcript cleanup
- Fix: foreground subagents spawning unbounded nested chains — now capped at the same 5-level depth as background subagents
- Fix: `claude mcp get`/`list` reporting `✓ Connected` when tools/list failed
- Fix: AWS `awsCredentialExport` refreshing every minute on short-lived credentials; now accepts `aws configure export-credentials` JSON shape
- Changed: fullscreen URL opening requires Cmd+click (macOS) / Ctrl+click
- Assorted TUI, clipboard, `/stats` timezone, and IDE line-number-off-by-one fixes
