# Native notifications, voice input, streaming command output, image generation, UI overhaul

## What changed


- Native macOS notifications when a task finishes or needs input (configurable under Settings → Notifications)
- Voice input: dictate into the composer with the microphone button, transcribed as you talk using your configured provider and model
- Commands stream output into the transcript as they run (terminal colors preserved, scrollable without yanking, "Proceed while running" support)
- Models with image generation support can now produce images inline in the transcript
- Finished agent runs collapse into a single "Worked for Xm Ys and made Z tool calls" summary (expandable)
- Reasoning traces and tool rows animate on open/close and respect reduced-motion setting
- Redesigned question cards: explicit option selection with submit button, multiple-choice support, arrow-key and A–Z shortcuts; internal request IDs and timestamps removed
- Web search toggle explains which providers honor it and warns when none are connected
- Refreshed assistant markdown: chat-scaled headings, quieter code blocks with hover copy button, table cards (same pipeline as cloud dashboard)
- Message hover actions float over transcript instead of reserving blank space
- Restyled session hover cards (open immediately, no duplicated ID/updated time, no animation)
- New "Cline Code Beta" app installs side by side, identifies itself in sidebar/Settings/title/tray
- Fixed timeline settling: queued prompts and fresh-session first prompts no longer stay stuck on the streaming shimmer
- Fixed sessions getting Yolo-mode system prompt whenever auto-approve was on (auto-approval is now independent of advertised mode)
- /skill and /workflow commands no longer dump skill body into chat as your message
- Fixed command execution breaking when a model emitted a full command line with no separate arguments (ENOENT on spaces)
- Checkpoint restore now trims the saved transcript too
- Fixed Gemini custom base URLs (proxy roots like localhost:4000/gemini no longer silently missing API version segment)
- LiteLLM input token limits preserved instead of being replaced with a 128K default
- Fixed misaligned columns in Usage table (added See More link)
- Fixed dialog dropdowns not responding to mouse clicks
