# Cline 4.1.4: model-initiated plan-to-act switching removed

> The model can no longer switch itself out of plan mode mid-turn — that transition is now user-driven only — and plan mode hard-blocks file-editing shell commands. Anyone whose workflow depended on the agent moving itself into act mode has to change how they drive it.

- Bedrock prompt caching restored; foundation models via geo inference profiles
- `max_completion_tokens` sent for OpenAI-compatible reasoning models; image substitution for models without image support
- MiniMax default from models.dev; catalog adds Infomaniak and SCX.ai
- Error telemetry deduplicated and rate-limited; Linux keybinding label corrected in the Plan/Act tooltip
