# Cursor Origin: code hosting, GitHub sync, and app integrations in beta

> Cursor launched Origin, a code hosting service integrated directly into the editor. Paid-plan users get hosted repos, bidirectional GitHub sync, pull requests, agent access in every repo, and app integrations (Vercel, Depot, Buildkite). Agent-native features are promised but not yet shipped. Entry into a market GitHub has dominated means a new default for Cursor users — every reason to read the docs if your team uses Cursor.

## What changed

- **Origin Repos**: create repos from the Codebase tab, push via CLI
- **GitHub sync**: connect your GitHub org, repos sync bidirectionally in real time; GitHub stays the source of truth for repos started there
- **Pull requests**: timeline, commits, checks, diffs, commenting, merging. Synced PRs reflect comments between Cursor and GitHub
- **Agent access**: ask questions, make changes, update PRs, push branches — all within any repo
- **App extensions**: Vercel (preview deployments per PR), Depot and Buildkite (CI) integrations available now
- **Access control**: repo-level settings for sync status, access, connected apps
- **Availability**: early beta, all paid plans (excluding enterprise orgs whose admins opt out)
