# Cursor Router: intelligent model routing with optimization modes

> Cursor introduces Cursor Router, an intelligent model router that analyzes each request and sends it to the most appropriate model. Three optimization modes (Intelligence, Balance, Cost) let users trade off quality against spend. Admins can control routing per team or group, restrict modes, and set allow/block lists for underlying models. Available on desktop, web, iOS, CLI, and SDK; on by default for Teams plans.
