# Devin: MCP from Devin's servers, Slack access defaults, Cascade scope controls

> MCP tools now execute from Devin's servers rather than the session's remote machine. Slack channel access defaults to all public channels plus DMs, configurable per account. Enterprise Cascade setting becomes a scope choice (everywhere, JetBrains only, or disabled). Also adds redesigned Changes tab with persistent file tree, session sidebar improvements, approval progress in PR status bar, and opt-in public GitHub repo automation triggers.
