# Kilo Code 7.4.17: Agent Manager side-panel terminals and a chat prompt navigator

## What changed


**Features**
- Agent Manager terminals open in the VS Code terminal or an embedded side panel, chosen per panel from the terminal button dropdown; the side panel shares the right-hand inspector with the diff view and keeps running when hidden.
- Multiple side-panel terminals per context: tab strip with click-to-switch, drag-to-reorder, per-tab close, and `+` to add. Terminal numbers refill gaps; tabs pick up live titles from the shell or running program via OSC escape codes.
- ⌘1-9 / Ctrl+1-9 shortcut badges appear on Agent Manager sidebar cards while the modifier is held.
- Prompt navigator rail in the chat transcript: one tick per sent prompt, hover/focus expands a card with answer previews, click jumps to that turn. Present in the sidebar, Kilo editor tabs, sub-agent viewer and Agent Manager; does not change chat readable width.

**Fixes**
- Terminal destination is remembered per panel and no longer flips when another window rewrites the shared setting; shortcut no longer dead-ends on worktrees with no active session; leaked terminals from reloaded webviews are cleaned up. Terminals also open faster.
- Conversations and workspace files are left unchanged when a checkpoint cannot be fully restored.
- `kilo console` prints basic-auth credentials in the Local and Network URLs, so headless/SSH/CI hosts can open the Console from another machine.
- Settings changes sometimes failing to save and apply in VS Code.
- Visible agent mode updates when cycling modes in sidebars and pending session tabs.
- Parenthesized tilde expressions render as literal text; prompt input toggle tooltips show instantly.

**Upstream (opencode v1.17.5→v1.17.9)**
- MCP: declared client capabilities, tool schemas accepted by OpenAI-compatible providers, schemas with no declared properties, progress keeping long-running tool timeouts alive, OAuth callback server shutdown, server error text surfaced on failure, escaped OAuth error pages.
- Plugin client requests reuse the active server instead of assuming the default local port; plugin-provided shell env vars apply to PTY sessions.
- ACP shell tool calls show command and working directory from the start.
- Cloudflare AI Gateway receives the configured API key.
