# OpenClaw 2026.6.5-beta.1: Parallel web search bundled, MCP result normalisation

> A prerelease whose weight is in reliability work: MCP tool results containing non-text blocks are now coerced before provider conversion, which stops Anthropic 400s and broken follow-up history, and Anthropic extended thinking recovers through prompt-cache expiry instead of ending the turn. Parallel ships as a bundled first-class web-search provider. Matters mainly to anyone running OpenClaw against Anthropic models or MCP servers that return rich content.

## What changed

- MCP: `resource_link`, audio, malformed images and future non-text blocks are normalised before provider conversion, preserving valid images and downgrading richer content to text (#90710, #90728)
- Anthropic: stream start deferred until `message_start`, stale compaction thinking signatures stripped before replay, unsigned thinking-only stalls detected, so prompt-cache expiry and early-signature failures reach the retry path (#90667, #90697)
- Search: bundled Parallel web-search plugin with API-key discovery, guarded `api.parallel.ai/v1/search` handling, cache-safe session IDs, onboarding and docs (#85158)
- QQBot: reasoning/thinking tags stripped before native delivery (#89913, #90132); new `/bot-group-allways on|off` slash command toggles whether group messages need an `@mention`, applied without restart (#91423)
- Matrix: voice-message preflight and thread-aware read/reply (#78016, #90415)
- Providers: Google Vertex ADC auth markers preserved in generated catalogs, fail closed for unknown model auth, Codex alias availability preserved (#90506, #90609, #90717, #90702)
- Skills/ClawHub: install GitHub-repo-backed skills through the resolved install API at a pinned commit
- Google Chat: native approval card actions
- Agents: `sessions_send` honours explicit `sessionKey` over stale label metadata; denied sends no longer echo the canonical session key
- Upgrades: cron JSON stores migrate before runtime, service env placeholders no longer mask secrets, macOS avoids direct-Gateway reconnect churn (#90072, #90208, #90668, #90815)
