# opencode 1.18.2: nested subagents disabled by default

> Subagents can no longer spawn their own subagents unless a `subagent_depth` limit is configured, changing default behaviour for anyone relying on recursive delegation. The rest is desktop UI fixes and a reasoning-depth tweak for Meta models.

## What changed


- Subagents no longer launch nested subagents by default; opt back in via a `subagent_depth` limit
- Default reasoning depth adjusted for Meta models
- Desktop: `Mod+N` added as an extra new-tab shortcut
- Desktop: Help button restored in release builds
