# OpenRouter: Responses API GA, breaking removal of beta.responses namespace

> OpenRouter's Responses API is now GA. The `beta.responses` OpenAPI tag and SDK namespace are removed. Raw HTTP callers and OpenAI-compatible clients need no changes. SDK users have a deprecated alias (`beta.responses`) that still works; its removal will be announced with a sunset date. New enum values added to `ProviderName`, `ProviderResponse`, and `BYOKProviderSlug`. A new `claude-on-aws` property was added to `ProviderOptions`.

## What changed

- `POST /responses`: `tags: beta.responses` property removed — the Responses API is now GA
- Migration for HTTP clients: no action required — `POST /api/v1/responses` and its schemas are unchanged
- Migration for SDK users: the canonical namespace is `responses` (`client.responses.send()`); `beta.responses` namespace keeps working as a deprecated alias with a future sunset date
- `$.tags: beta.responses` object removed from the specification
- `ProviderName` enum: new value added
- `ProviderOptions`: new `claude-on-aws` property added to audio/speech, audio/transcriptions, images, and videos endpoints
- `ProviderResponse` enum: new value added
- `BYOKProviderSlug` enum: new value added to BYOK endpoints
- `MessagesStartEvent`: `provider` property updated
- `GET /byok`: `provider` parameter updated
