# Roo Code CLI 0.1.12: --timeout is now the sole command timeout

> The runtime no longer honours background timeouts supplied by the model when running commands; command lifetime is controlled only by the `--timeout` setting. Affects anyone whose long-running commands were being cut short by model-chosen values.
