# Roo Code CLI 0.1.16: --terminal-shell flag

> Adds a `--terminal-shell` flag so you can pick which shell runs inline commands, validated at the CLI layer and passed through the normal settings path. Matters if the CLI's default shell choice conflicts with your environment.
