Devin: Side Chats, Perplexity MCP, Slack improvements, automation condition operators
Side Chats let users start a conversation anchored to any point in a session without interrupting Devin's main work. Perplexity is available as an MCP server in the connectors marketplace. Slack integration improved with channel access requests, auto-read for origin channels, and capacity notices. Automation conditions gain negated string operators (not contains, not starts with, not ends with). The automation editor now warns when selected MCP servers or network-policy entries fall outside the governing security profile.
