Qwen3: new frontier model family released
Alibaba released Qwen3, a new model family led by Qwen3-235B-A22B which achieves competitive benchmark results against DeepSeek-R1, o1, o3-mini, Grok-3, and Gemini-2.5-Pro. The range also includes Qwen3-30B-A3B, a small MoE model that outperforms QwQ-32B with 10x fewer activated parameters, and Qwen3-4B which rivals Qwen2's performance.
