Cline Desktop 0.0.10: OAuth for remote MCP servers, failed turns now surface errors

Remote MCP servers can be authorized with OAuth from Settings → MCP, including servers that need a pre-registered client ID/secret rather than dynamic registration. Turns that fail — including sending with no model credentials — now show an error in the transcript instead of failing silently, and MCP errors are attributed to the individual server rather than the whole page.

SOURCES1
  • OAuth for remote MCP servers from Settings → MCP: authorize, view auth status, cancel or retry a pending authorization; pre-registered OAuth clients supported; stored tokens invalidated when a server's client configuration changes
  • MCP errors shown per-server; a server with invalid configuration is surfaced with its error instead of disappearing from the list
  • Failed turns surface an error in the transcript with the underlying cause and a pointer to Settings → Models
  • Fixed first message of a chat (and some queued messages) rendering twice
  • Fixed composer stuck on "Agent is working…" after a turn finished
  • "Connect a model" notice on the welcome screen when no provider has credentials; reacts live and recognizes Bedrock/Vertex and keyless local endpoints as connected
  • "Get an API key" links for popular providers in onboarding and Settings → Models; link to the Cline dashboard from the API key form
  • Stop button visible and clickable, Esc stops the current turn; Cmd/Ctrl+N new session, Cmd/Ctrl+, settings
  • Reasoning controls resolve consistently across AI SDK providers including Ollama
  • Vertex AI credential refresh uses the configured fetch, fixing ADC behind proxies
  • Refreshed bundled provider and model catalog
