Cline Desktop Beta: cloud sessions, avatar overlay, SSH remote proof of concept

First beta release of the Cline desktop app, installable side-by-side with the stable app. Adds cloud sessions (preview) that sync transcripts, approvals, and queued prompts across devices, an avatar overlay (preview) that reacts to session activity, and an early proof of concept for SSH remote environments. GitHub integration is now part of onboarding.

  • Cloud sessions (preview): run sessions in Cline's cloud from the desktop app. Connect GitHub, pick a repo and branch, hand sessions between devices — transcripts, approvals, and queued prompts stay in sync. Rename sessions and switch models mid-session. Toggle in Settings.
  • Avatar overlay (preview): floating desktop companion that reacts to session activity.
  • SSH remote environments (proof of concept): early support for running sessions in SSH remote environments.
